Withdraw from your contract

You can withdraw from the contract for your Heldena subscription. The withdrawal period is 14 days from conclusion of the contract. If you changed from monthly to yearly with a subscription through Stripe, outside the trial, we grant you a new period of 14 days for the year, from the day on which the yearly price is billed; if the payment succeeds later, the period ends at the earliest 14 days after the payment; it is enough to send the withdrawal in time. Details are in the section “Your right of withdrawal” of our terms of use.

With the button below you withdraw from the contract for the Heldena subscription that runs under the email address you give; if more than one runs there, it applies to each. If your withdrawal reaches us in the first 14 days of the subscription, our service ends the subscription as soon as it has carried out your declaration, and refunds your payment itself if it recognizes exactly one that can be refunded and the refund succeeds; otherwise the case goes to our mailbox so that a person at our end arranges the refund. If you changed from monthly to yearly outside the trial, the same applies to a withdrawal in the first 14 days from the day on which the yearly price is billed; our service carries it out itself once the payment for the year is booked with us, before that a person at our end checks it. A withdrawal that reaches us before that day does not count as a withdrawal for the year (terms of use, section “Your right of withdrawal”). If your withdrawal reaches us later, a person at our end checks whether the period was still running; until then your subscription keeps running.

The subscription whose contract you withdraw from is the one that runs under this address; if more than one runs there, it applies to each.

Contract: Heldena subscription (monthly or yearly)

What we need your details for: to identify you clearly in your declaration, to find your subscription under your email address at our payment service Stripe or in our accounts (including a subscription through PayPal, if your address is in your account with Heldena), to carry out the declaration and, for a withdrawal in the period, to refund your payment. How long: we delete your name, email address and, where given, the reason from our service as soon as the declaration has been carried out and no case is open any more, as soon as it has been filed as without a subscription found, or passed on to our mailbox as a case; until then they are held there, at most 30 days after receipt: if the declaration has not been carried out by then (for example because Stripe cannot be reached), we first pass it to our mailbox as a case; if no collective email has gone out by then either, the service deletes the details anyway. In that case your declaration may not have been carried out yet or not completely, and nobody at our end may have seen the case; we do not notify you about this. What stays: the declaration itself stays stored in the service without these details until the end of the third calendar year after the year of receipt, with its reference number, type of declaration (cancellation or withdrawal), time of receipt, language of the page, the identifier of the customer and of the subscription at Stripe, for a subscription through PayPal the identifier of the subscription, the number of your account with Heldena and, where a refund is due or was made for a withdrawal, the amount of the latest invoice, and the result, so that we can prove its receipt and show what was to be refunded; it stays stored like this even if you delete your account before. If the service refunds your payment itself, it stores for this the identifier of the payment with the provider, the amount, the time and the state of the refund, and the number of your account, so that the same payment is not refunded twice and we can assign it to your account; the entry stays until 31 December of the third calendar year after the year in which it was created (the number of your account for as long as the entry exists, at most until your account is finally deleted). In addition, our service counts declarations per email address and requests per IP address in memory, to limit abuse; for the email address it keeps a short value for this, made under a key that the service generates at random when it starts and does not store anywhere; after a restart the counters and the key are gone. If a person at our end has to review a case, that person receives your details by email. More about this is in the privacy statement(opens in a new tab).

You can also send your withdrawal by email to contact@heldena.com. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send it in time. If you want to withdraw from the use without a subscription, write to us there as well: this page ends subscriptions only.
